The scientific idea of brainwaves has made its way into popular media as can be witnessed in art, movies and science fiction. The image of a person with electrodes on his scalp while his brainwaves are being recorded is almost as iconic as the symbol of the atom or the depictions showing the ascent of man according to evolution. Yet very few people are aware of the fact that our brainwaves can be altered and, more importantly, by shifting into different states of brainwave activity, we can swiftly change our state of consciousness — say from one of anxiety to one of deep calm and openness — and by doing so, we also shift our emotional and physical state as it corresponds to that brainwave level. This is an idea which deeply fascinates me and intrigues me.

Short waves and long waves

The brain produces electric impulses. These impulses can be recorded by devices such as EEGs, fMRIs and others and are shown as waves of varying speeds or frequencies. The speed of the brainwaves are measured in Hertz (cycles per second). There are four general categories of brainwave levels: The Beta, Alpha, Theta and Delta.

 The Busy Beta: This is the state you’re in when in your normal state of consciousness. If your mind is occupied with something such as being engaged in a conversation or thinking about solving a problem, it is predominantly emitting brainwaves in the Beta level. Beta waves are relatively faster than the other three categories but have a small amplitude. They range between the 12 Hz to 38 Hz.

As I’ve stated before, I am fairly open-minded when it comes to entheogens and hallucinogens as long as they’re used in a respectful and sacred manner. I do not believe in using these substances simply to get high or out of curiosity.

I’ve had the privilege of undertaking multiple DMT journeys and can confirm the reports of the volunteers cited in an important new study, namely that with DMT there is an overwhelming sense of entering into a seamlessly-convincing ‘alternate universe’ that feels ‘more real than real’, often densely populated with a variety of strange objects and other highly complex visual content, including what appear to be sentient ‘beings’, coupled with the equally overwhelming sense of receiving a download of structured and significant ‘information’ most of which, however, proves difficult to retrieve once back in the ‘normal’ alert problem-solving state of consciousness.

How avoiding the sun can lead to disease

pexels-photo-97558In the last 30 years or so, even minimal sun exposure has been actively discouraged. Widely promoted by the MSM, fear of the sun has seeped into the consciousness of far too many people on this planet, driving them away from the one thing that can actually reduce their chances of disease.

Paramahansa Yogananda knew the true healing benefits of the sun. Not only did he encourage frequent sun baths in Autobiography of a Yogi, he understood the life-giving potential of the sun’s rays:

While I think Vitamin D supplementation is helpful, I don’t think it’s quite as beneficial as soaking up the actual rays of the sun. I’m not talking about frying yourself; I’m talking about spending 15 to 20 minutes in the sun, three to four times a week.

I think the sun has the power to recharge our bodies in ways traditional science doesn’t yet comprehend. And I believe the power of the sun is behind the secret of yogis who are able to live without food and water for decades. Shine on!

The cancer and sunscreen industries have made it their mission to convince the world that sunlight is a primary cause of skin cancer, when in fact it has been shown to prevent it and many other forms of cancer.

It is a common sight these days to come across girls riding their two-wheelers and scooties, all covered up to avoid the sun’s rays on their person.They even wrap a stole around their faces, so that not an inch of their face is seen, and wear gloves to keep the sun away from their skin.

Experts say that despite living in a tropical climate, it is unfortunate that many don’t expose themselves to the sun to get the RDA (recommended daily allowance) of vitamin D.

Switch off the TV (Tel-Lie-Vision). Turn to select alternative media sources instead for the truth. Learn to research and discern the differences between disinformation and the truth, especially in the case of the internet.

#2. Stop voting for any of the major political parties

By voting for one of the major political parties, you’re only giving your power away to help the ruling criminals further advance their NWO agenda. Stop believing the left/right sock puppet campaigning shows, all of which are backed and financed by T.H.E.Y (The Hierarchy Enslaving You). It doesn’t matter who gets voted in — they’re all funded and backed by the ruling elite. Whomever wins, the politicians who sit in office will only be there to serve their lords and masters, the ruling elite, instead of the wishes of we-the-people.

Yes, there are a growing number of people who know this, but many still don’t fully understand: Any advantages of selecting one party over the other because of say, a policymin your favour or advantage, such as a tax cut, will only be a short-term payoff. In the end, if you vote for one of the major parties then you’ll only have to suffer the far greater long-term cost of having chosen a party or so-called representative with connections to the ruling elite’s agenda.

Acupuncture Beats Injected Morphine for Pain: Groundbreaking Study

An amazing new study has found that acupuncture, the ancient practice of using needles to stimulate bodily self healing, is more effective than intravenous morphine for pain. 

A truly groundbreaking study published in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine titled, “Acupuncture vs intravenous morphine in the management of acute pain in the ED,” reveals that acupuncture – one of the oldest techniques to treat pain – is more effective, faster in relieving pain, and with less adverse effects, than intravenous morphine.

The study was conducted over the course of a 1-year period at the Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital in Tunisia, a tertiary care facility with over 100,000 Emergency Department (ED) visits per year.

300 ED patients with acute pain were included in the study: 150 in the morphine group (administered up to 15 mg a day) and 150 in the acupuncture group. The two groups were comparable in terms of age, sex, and co-morbidities, with the only significant difference being that there were more abdominal pain patients in the morphine group and more low back pain cases in the acupuncture group.

8 reasons you should fast every day for life

We’ve all heard the popular medical advice that you should have three square meals a day, that frequent, smaller meals are best and that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. But are any of these maxims really true?

For years, I’ve found that my energy levels seem to be a lot higher when I don’t eat breakfast. I’m now experimenting with not eating until around noon with no eating after 8 pm. That leaves a 16-hour period where my body is fasting. So far, I’ve noticed my energy levels are higher and I don’t get the infamous afternoon slump. If it brings any other benefits, I’ll write about it in the future.


The Benefits Of Fasting

Science can now explain why low calorie diets are more healthy and intermittent fasting (eating every 16 hours) can lead to longevity.

A simple way to do this is to not eat 4 hrs after waking up, but rehydrate with lots of water as soon as you get up, and not eat 4 hrs before you go to bed. As most people sleep on average 8 hrs, this will give your 16-hr. fast. This is the routine I like to do as it is easiest to manage and I find has the most immediate results that you will feel on a daily basis.

Why 3 meals a day with snacks became the norm:

The normal 3-meal-a-day eating pattern with snacks and desserts came from the 9-5 work routine that was instilled in cultures around the world with the dawn of the industrial revolution. However, it is completely unnatural to eat when you are told to eat. Native cultures – before the European settlers arrived – actually ate a much less rigid routine, choosing rather to eat when they were actually hungry. This was considered ‘uncivilized’ and was eventually educated out of the cultures.

Many of my older relatives who are still alive into old age, 90+ tend to stick to the Hindu ritual of fasting on a weekly basis, similar to the 5:2 diet. Even then, during the day they would hardly eat much and usually only one main meal a day. I used to think they were crazy and backwards, but now it all makes perfect sense.

Mystery object beyond Neptune can’t be explained

It’s incredibly interesting that NASA has been allowing so much information to be released about what’s really going on in the solar system and the agency’s plans to explore it.  After all, they’re now actively recruiting people for a mission to Mars.

Too bad we’ve already been there, done that. Now, after decades of lies, they’re trying to prepare the people of this planet for a galactic future. Even so, I imagine a lot of people are going to be quite shocked when they realize what’s been going on all these years.

Mystery object in weird orbit beyond Neptune cannot be explained

“I hope everyone has buckled their seat belts because the outer solar system just got a lot weirder.” That’s what Michele Bannister, an astronomer at Queens University, Belfast tweeted on Monday.

She was referring to the discovery of a TNO or trans-Neptunian object, something which sits beyond Neptune in the outer solar system. This one is 160,000 times fainter than Neptune, which means the icy world could be less than 200 kilometres in diameter. It’s currently above the plane of the solar system and with every passing day, it’s moving upwards – a fact that makes it an oddity.

The TNO orbits in a plane that’s tilted 110 degrees to the plane of the solar system. What’s more, it swings around the sun backwards unlike most of the other objects in the solar system. With this in mind, the team that discovered the TNO nicknamed it “Niku” after the Chinese adjective for rebellious.
